C:\WINDOWS\YSTEM3~1\alg.exe

The Alg.exe is normally in System 32 but not in YSTEM3~1. The one in System
32 is a necessary file.

How would you replace the alg.exe in System 32?

Re: good alg.exe deleted

I did a search on my sytem to check and it was in the following places:
C:$NtServicePackUninstall$<==this is probably just for uninstalling
C:Windows\Prefetch<==I would be afraid for victim to use this if it was
located there - maybe the YSTEM3~1 one
C:Windows\System32<==victim does not have it here because deleted it
C:Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386<== I was wondering about this one if victim
does not have it in dllcache

Re: good alg.exe deleted

Susan,

There is a backup copy located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache. You can
'Copy & Paste' from C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache to C:\WINDOWS\system32.

Re: good alg.exe deleted

Susan,

Yes, take it from C:Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386.
